Barnes & Noble releases a new picture book for 5-8-year-olds. A collaboration between my wife, Louise, and me. She wrote the story; I did the illustrations. 

Etta’s Christmas Tale - In a New England town dusted with snow, Etta, a spirited rescue dog with a nose for mischief and a heart full of love, settles in to guard the tree and gifts on a silent Christmas Eve. The aroma of a particular package is intoxicating, and she begins a whimsical adventure filled with kindness, comedic mishaps, and affection.

As Etta’s family returned home, her actions highlighted the genuine spirit of the season: love, laughter, and the forgiving of hearts. The story is about family warmth, joyful giving, and forgiveness for a dog who simply hopes to make things right.

Dedication: Dedicated to those who saved an animal, only to find they were the ones being saved, and the unexpected bond bloomed.
